![]() I originally worked on this painting, "Yellow Vase", in November 2013. Although it's very nice, I wanted to add crochet pieces to it since I've learned - now it feels finished. These paintings that I'm combining crochet into are really special. Although I take photographs of them, I feel like prints really can't be offered. The photographs don't do them justice. Instead of buying original art though, which can be pricey, prints are very affordable. I kept thinking, what can I do? I did figure something out... It does change the feel of the piece but I think it's a really nice way to offer a print of my crochet + painting pieces. See below three options available. I scanned in my original piece done last November so I had the background on file. I didn't want to add just vector flowers so I loosely interpreted crochet stitches as the flowers themselves in the prints. Don't expect to follow these stitch diagrams to create flowers - I've simply used artistic license. I really do like them framed. What do you think?? 3 different options to the prints available: black stitch lines, white stitch lines, or color. See full image here.
