I started to teach myself to crochet on the night of the Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony this year (when was that, Feb. 7?). It was so hard and frustrating at first having my hands do what I knew they should be doing... holding the crochet needle while working the yarn through my other fingers. It's an art in itself and it's challenging. I immediately loved it although it wasn't easy. It may sound odd, maybe it's the repetitive motion, but crocheting is relaxing to me. Here is my first attempt at incorporating my crochet pieces into my art. I love the dimension crochet adds. I hope you enjoy these new pieces.

My ultimate goal is to show my kids to find their passion and make it their life work.
Here I post my current paintings, stationery, pattern and graphic design projects along with inspiring images that spark my creativity.
I hope throughout my site YOU are inspired, even in some small way, to bring creativity into your own life. For me, sometimes it proves to be my only sanity!
